What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Establish and embed solid ways of working to ensure adequate and uninterrupted supply of products to partners, enabling the achievement of commercial targets in cooperation with supply chain
- Ensure patient demand is properly aligned upfront where required
- Actively participate in business review meetings ensuring alignment of partners and driving performance
- Facilitate and enable information flow/cooperation between partners where required
- In cooperation with Pricing, ensure required list pricing updates are implemented on timely manner in markets and captured appropriately in internal systems including supply price changes
- Propose/implement Grünenthal adequate operational rebates/discounts based on price/volume analysis ensuring reconciliation is performed on timely manner with Partner and internally
- Work closely with Legal team to ensure necessary contractual legal updates and respective annexes/LoAs/PoAs are performed on timely basis and captured adequately
- Support integration of new assets working directly with Integration and Alliance team and respective functions facilitating cooperation with Partners focusing on commercial aspects of transitions
- Support Area Managers in preparing and analyzing business cases providing insights to drive strategic decisions
- Coordinate the cross-functional team and partners to successfully manage relevant projects
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Economics, an MBA is a plus
- Solid commercial experience in retail pharmaceutical business with proven track record of achievements at least at country level, ideally on cluster level
- Solid experience and proven track record in managing business through distribution channels, ideally beyond one market
- Strong understanding of distributors/pharmacy chains environment and commercial activities, own experience would be ideal
- Experience of S&OP process and forecasting/demand planning
- Experience in project management in a highly complex environment (several countries and functions)
- Additional experience with management of integrations/alliances or partnerships is preferred
- EU or CEE or other EU cluster pharmaceutical market understanding
- Familiar with marketing, operational planning & pricing rules in EU market
- Fluency in Business English, additional language beneficial (ideally Romanian/Polish)
- Ability to communicate with internal & external stakeholders on different hierarchical levels
- Analytical, demonstrating entrepreneurial thinking, strong in business analysis and managerial interpretation
- Strong Project Management skills
- Strong interpersonal/intercultural skills, always acting with integrity, courageous, result-driven, innovative and clever
